>In the year 1888 Prof. Alonzo T. Jones a 7th Day Adventist Minister,
he went to Washington DC to the United State Senate Committee to argue against
the Bill proposed by Senator Blair in favor of the National Sunday Law,
this happened in the 50th Congress 1st. session May 21st l888. Mr. Jones
went alone following the counsel of The Lord as many before him did in the
history of Christianity, taking a stand against apostasy in agreement with
the book of Jude verse 3. The SDA leaders at that time did nothing to oppose
the pending legislation in favor of the National Sunday Law, while Mr. A.T.Jones,
a dissfellowshiped member of the SDA, took a stand alone for the truth,
without the support of the church. "There is nothing new under the
sun", according to the Bible.
He presented with the Holy Scripture, a wonderful defense in favor of the
Fourth Commandment, and the Sabbath and spoke against the day of the sun
or Sunday, and The National Sunday Law Bill. So, as a result, in 1888, The
Bill was defeated.
Several years ago, I myself being a member of the 7th Day Adventist Church
did have the opportunity to watch a video of "The John Ankerberg Show."
In the same video Mr. Walter Martin and other Evangelical leaders invited
the SDA Leadership to have a discussion about theology on the issues of
Mrs. Ellen G. White's inspiration, infallibility, interpretation of Scripture,
"Investigative Judgment", etc.
The 7th Day Adventist Leaders reluctantly went to the meeting, and during
the show, they failed to respond using Bible Scriptures to the attacks argued
against our faith. For the non SDA that had the opportunity to watch the
video, the impression they perceived was that the SDA is a cult, and the
SDA has no biblical answers for what they believe.And at that time, I had
no explanation for the failure of the SDA leadership to respond to the issues
presented by the Evangelical leaders.
A few years later, a friend put in my hands some copies of Mr. Alberto Rivera's
comics, published by Chick Publications, and among the titles, he gave me
the one entitled "The God Fathers" In the same comic, Mr. Alberto
Rivera testifies how the 7th Day Adventist Institution, like other Christian
denominations has been heavily infiltrated by the Jesuit Order, to the point
of total control of all funds and assets. This is in agreement with one
of the many dreams The Lord gave to Mrs. Ellen G. White. This dream can
be found in the book "Testimonies To The Church" Vol. I page.
578. In the dream Mrs. White describes in detail how the infiltration began,
and she even saw all of our goods confiscated by the Jesuit Order.
We must compare the testimony of Mr. Alberto Rivera and how he lived as
a Jesuit, with Mrs. White's dream over one hundred years ago, and how she
saw the same thing before it came to pass. The two together make the story
even more believable. These gave me the total vision that we can not trust
the SDA leaders, but we must take in our hands the work of alerting the
perishing world, and this will vindicate the Independent 7th Day Adventist
Prophetic Message, given not after 1844 as many believe but, which was really
given 2000 years ago, by our Savior and I am prepared to prove it, with
the Bible, and the Bible only at any opportunity.
The Evangelical Leader invited the SDA leaders to a discussion in which
they offered no biblical answers to the Evangelical accusations. The SDA
leaders failed at the opportunity to respond with the Bible, and to the
questions asked concerning our message.
For this reason I want to call the Evangelical Leaders to a discussion without
the participation of the SDA leaders. I consider myself an Independent Prophetic
7th Day Adventist, and under the same name, I am calling this meeting, extending
an special invitation to Mr. John Mac Arthur, Mr. Dave Hunt, Mr. Jim Simbola,
DR Kennedy, Mr. R.C. Sproll and others Evangelical Leaders willing to come
to the discussion, to be presented in an EQUAL TIME environment.
The 7th Day Adventist Prophetic message has been maligned time and time
again. For example: In 1997, Mr. Jim Simbola Pastor of "The Brooklyn
Tabernacle", commented in his former radio program aired on WNCA radio
station. He said: "Ellen G. White the Prophet of the 7th Day Adventist
Church said that she knew what the seventh thunders of Revelation uttered".
This was an incorrect statement, on the part of this leader. On the same
day I called The Brooklyn Tabernacle, and asked to speak with Mr. Simbola
but he was unavailable, and after many attempts to speak with Mr. Simbola,
the secretary told me to wait a week or two for the tape of the program
to return to the church; but three months later I knew what I was dealing
with, and I never received any tape.
Also Mr. Dave Hunt wrote an article in the Christian Jew Foundation newsletter:
"Message Of The Christian Jew" in the issue of May-June 1998,
attacking the inspiration of Mrs. White quoting from 7th Day Adventist book's
things that he doesn't even know, taking advantage of an opportunity given
to him by that Ministry. I want to answer Mr. Hunt personally and all Evangelical
Leaders, I want to respond to the barrage of lies and to the cowardice they
display by speaking about and trying to degrade the SDA faith, without giving
any opportunity for rebuttal.
Today, is the time for Evangelical Leaders to come clean on these issues;
it is not time for name calling or character assassination but time to come
forward with the Bible and be responsible by answering questions in equal
time like children of The Heavenly Father. I will also personally extend
an invitation to other Independent SDA Prophetic Leaders willing to defend
our Message. Fear is a symptom of insecurity. The Evangelicals must come
forward without fear to a friendly and brotherly discussion.
The following Evangelical doctrines, can not be proven in the Bible, these
doctrines are: Immortality of the soul, Eternal punishment, The Rapture
of The Churches, Sunday keeping, among others. I want additionally ask and
respond questions regarding these doctrines, to the Evangelical brethren.
For the same reason the late Mr. Walter Martin and others called a meeting
with the SDA Leaders, I am calling for a FRIENDLY discussion with the Evangelical
Leaders with the following conditions:
1) Only The Bible is to be used for the discussion.
2)Mrs. Ellen G. White or Mr. C.S.Lewis statements are not to be used to prove doctrine.
3) An equal time environment must be provided for both parties
4) Matthew 10:26 Ministries is the caller for the meeting accepting or refusing 7th Day Adventist to the discussion.
5) Only Prophetic Independent SDA and Evangelicals are invited.
6) A place where both parties can attend at a convenient time.
May the Heavenly Father have mercy on each one of us, and may He prepare us for what are soon to break upon this world as an overwhelming surprise. This is my prayer.

"The Great Controversy" by Ellen G. White.
The Christian Research Institute or CRI the apostate institution that don't
even know the difference between Protestant and Catholic doctrine, they
attacks every thing that not compromise with Truth. When a profess Protestant
institution calls Roman Catholicism Christian we can be sure they are working
for the enemy and darkness is prevailing in the same institution. I never
wonder why these apostates hate so much the message given to Ellen G. White.
The pointed testimony given to Ellen G. White points to Roman Catholicism
as the apostasy of the latter days. Also if you look very carefully to the
tracts CRI has against the testimony given by Alberto Rivera, you will see
how Protestants can not discern the signs of a the times. And that for sure
they have been infiltrated.

I want to have a debate with you on all the issues mention on that letter, and more. You are a well inform Christian in most of the problems hitting the Gospel today. I did hear you speak on Adventism, and also read your letters trying to explain YOUR side of the issues. But it is time people out there listen to BOTH side of the controversy. We can't judge any man unless we hear him, but this Christian principle have been violated with Adventism, time and time again. The time is now to call everything by its right name. I contacted John MacArthur ministries but they are afraid to come forward, to confront the light. Hoping FEAR is not in your agenda also.

Dear Hank, this is the third letter I have sent to you, the first was
"Open letter
to John MacArthur, Dave Hunt, John Ankerberg, and all Evangelical Leaders"
A copy of the second letter dated July 21, 1998 is attach to this one. And
this is the third letter sent to you with the same purpose of setting up
a debate, between Evangelicals and Independent 7th Day Adventist.
I want to have a debate with you in all the issues mention on the first
letter. But until now no even one Evangelical leader have responded to our
call for a meeting between the two patties. I take this is as a sign that
the Evangelical Leaders have not Bible support to confront Independent 7th
Day Adventist. This is the last letter we will send to you asking for a
debate. I always see how Evangelicals boast of knowing the "True Gospel"
but the lack of any response to the call of our ministry for a debate shows
on the contrary, Evangelical weakness. I spoke to Sam Wall in the telephone
and he asked me to write this letter to you. Before Sam, I spoke to Tara
your secretary and we were getting to something. But since Tara is not longer
with CRI we have to start again and we got to the end of the road trying
to find leaders willing to defend the Evangelical persuasion. "Fear
is a symptom of insecurity" I want to add, please feel free to invite
Walter Rae, Desmond Ford or any Adventist dissident to this meeting. Time
is short and the people must know the truth.

Thank You for taking the time to contact the Christian Research Institute.
Due to the
many functions that Hank Hanegraaff is responsible for at CRI, only one
of which is hosting the nationally syndicated Bible Answer Man radio
broadcast, he is not able to personally respond to every communication that
is address to him. Therefore, Hank has research consultants (like me) who
assist him in responding to our constituent' inquiries.
As president of the Christian Research Institute, and host of the nationally syndicated Bible Answer Man radio broadcast, Hank routinely receives challenges to debate a myriad of diverse topics from organizations and individuals who disagree with his position on any number of subjects.
While Hank has participated in debates over the last several years, the incoming challenges are so numerous that it would be virtually impossible for him to personally respond to each and every challenger, much less to actually accept all invitations to debate. Were he to do so, there would be no Bible Answer Man broadcast, no Christian Research Journal, and likely, no Christian Research Institute since he would have to devote all of his time to debating as opposed to attending to his duties as president of CRI.
In view of the above, we must decline your invitation. Our rejection of your offer is due to Hank's workload as president of CRI, and should not be taken as an indication that the issues surrounding Seventh Day Adventism are not an important and worthy of serious consideration.
