Who was John Harrison Surratt ?

>There are two books to get if you want to know the truth about the assassination of Abraham Lincoln, IF, you can get them: "The Suppressed Truth About the Assassination of Abraham Lincoln" by Burke McCarthy and "Rome Responsibility For The Assassination of Abraham Lincoln" by Thomas M. Harris Late Brigadier General U.S.V. and Major General by Brevet. Originally Publishing Company 1897 ("Rome's Responsibility For The Assassination Of Abraham Lincoln") In these two books, both writers clearly point the culprit as the Roman Catholic Church, and especially the second book have more weight because, General Harris sat in the tribunal which judged the conspirators in the assassination of the beloved president. The majority of the people believe John Wilkes Booth to be the only assassin, (At the beginning of the century a man on his death bed died on the West Coast claiming to be John Wilkes Booth)

John H. Surratt, Arch Conspirator

John Harrison Surratt. the nineteen-year-old son of Mrs. Mary E. Surratt, who was chosen by the Jesuits as the arch conspirator in the assassination of Abraham Lincoln, had studied three years in preparation for the Roman priesthood at the Sulpician Fathers monastery, at Charles County, Maryland, previous to the breaking out of the Civil war. The Sulpician Fathers is a branch of the Jesuit order. At this Sulpician monastery Surratt was introduced to another theological P student, Louis J. Weichmann of Philadelphia with whom he formed a close friendship, when in 1862 young Surratt was called to his home in Surrattville, a crossroads village 13 miles south of Washington, by the death of his father. The elder Surratt had been a railroad contractor , and had accumulated some money which was partly invested in slaves and a plantation and tavern at Surrattville where he served as postmaster at the time of his demise.

The family consisted of Isaac, the eldest son, a civil engineer, who enlisted in the Southern Cause at the very beginning of the war and who the last heard of him had joined Maximillian's forces in Mexico; Anna, the only daughter, a girl in her early twenties, and John H., the youngest.
The Surratts were all .ardent secessionists and fanatical Roman Catholics. Mrs. Surratt was, early in life, perverted to Romanism from the Protestant faith.
Her children were Romanists from birth.
That John Harrison Surratt, was cool, clever, calculating and crafty, far in advance of his years, is shown by the fact that at the very beginning of the Rebellion he was selected to do important work in the Southern secret service, bearing the most important dispatches from Jefferson Davis at Richmond to his agents at Washington and to the members of his "kitchen cabinet" in Montreal, Canada.
On his return home from the monastery near Baltimore, John Surratt was sworn in as postmaster in his father's place at Surrattville. His Jesuit training enabled him to lift his hand and swear undivided allegiance to the United States. So much for a Jesuit's oath. To get a complete estimate of John Surratt's part in the diabolical conspiracy to murder President Lincoln and other heads of this government we must fully consider the preliminary training he received.
This boy, (for we must remember that he was but in his teens, at his entrance into this plot) was never free from the espionage and evil influence of the Romish church from his baptism in infancy to the day of his death at the age of seventy-two years. When he was but twelve years old he was placed in Gonzaga College, Washington, D. C., a Catholic preparatory school, under the tutorage of Priest Wiget, who was the confessor for years of both himself and his mother. After leaving Gonzaga College he spent two years at Georgetown in the Jesuit College before leaving for the Sulpician Fathers monastery. I am calling the attention of the reader to this fact when you come to pass judgment on this young man, that you may place the blame for his conduct where it belongs--0n the Jesuit psycology inculcated by the priests of the Roman Church;
That he was a leader and a dependable one, in this conspiracy of wholesale assassination, is shown by the fact. that the object of John Wilkes Booth's first visit to St. Mary's Catholic Church in Howard County, Mary]and, was to learn the whereabouts in Washington of John Surratt.
Young Surratt, had then, never the slightest chance or desire to escape from the deadly virus. This virus stultified every noble aspiration, every natural affection, every personal ambition, even the strongest instinct in the human mind-self preservation is thrust aside when the victim hears the call of duty to "the holy mother church." Then, mother love, father love, brother love all, all, must yield to this cursed thing. This complete mental control which Rome exercises over its dupes whom it permits to have no more will of their own, nor resistance, than that of a cadaver. 'Perinda ac cadaver." (as a corpse) to be moved here, or there, at the will of the manipulator. The Roman Catholic child is thus handicapped at birth, yes, there is a prenatal influence as the study of these two characters in this tragic drama will disclose. her mother, Mary E. Surratt, the intimate associate of priests, her soul deadened by the fatal virus of the Jesuit training, passed on to her son the terrible inheritance which made him wax in the black hands of the Vatican intriguers, to mold as they would.
During Surratt's theological training he had studied St. Thomas Aquinas, who justifies the assassination of heretics, or any who apostacises from the Romish church. It was a significant and eloquent fact that the Jesuits released from time to time during the war the report that President Lincoln had been, in his infancy, baptized by a Catholic priest. On one of his visits to the White House of the Rev. Charles Chiniquy to warn President Lincoln of his danger in assassination, Mr. Lincoln is quoted by Chiniquy in his book "Fifty Years in tile Church of Rome" as follows :
"Father Chiniquy, I want your views about a thing which is exceedingly puzzling to me and you are the only one to whom I would like to speak on the subject.
A great number of Democratic newspapers have been sent me lately, evidently written ,by Roman Catholics, publishing that I was born a Roman Catholic and baptized by a priest. They called me a renegade and apostate on account of that, and they heaped upon my head mountains of abuse. Now, no priest of Rome has ever laid his hand on my head. But the persistency of the Romish press to present this falsehood to their readers as gospel truth, must have a meaning. Please tell me, as briefly as possible, what you think about it." This, Mr. Chiniquy answered, was done solely to incite and justify the act in the minds of some of their fanatics to assassinate the President. It was the equivalent to a command, as it afterward proved.
About November lst, 1863, Mrs. Surratt and her family moved to their residence at 541 H. St., Washington, D. C., where she opened a select boarding house.
Select to the extent that there were no "heretics" among her boarders. The first to come was Louis J. Weichmann, who had been for three years a classmate of John Surratt's at the Sulpician Monastery where Weichmann also was preparing for the Roman priesthood. (From the Book, "The Suppressed Truth About the Assassination of President Lincoln" p. 105-107)

The Majority don't know that actually four people hanged for the crime, and that John Surratt the only one that escape for a season, with the help of the Catholic Church's priests, was caught by a government detective, in the Vatican where he was serving as a personal soldier of the Pope called at that time the Souaves (pictured upper), today they are called the Swiss Army. He was captured, and sent back to the United States to face the music, was tried by a civil court and because of a hang jury the criminal was set free. This was the result of the defense playing the religious card in the trial. Some of the juries were asked if they felt the defendant was guilty, and they reply "Without a doubt, He is guilty, but we felt that the execution of his mother was enough punishment for him". >It is very interesting to note, that many catholic priest testified in behalf of John Harrison Surratt, as also they did two years before, in the trial of his mother Mary Surratt, and three other defendants.(These big Guns testify in behalf of the Conspirators: Miss Anna Ward, resident at the Catholic Female Seminary at Tenth Street Washington, Reverend B.F. Wiget president of Gonzaza College, F Street between Tenth and Eleven, Reverend Frances E. Boyle pastor of St Peter Church, Reverend Chas. H. Stonestreet Pastor of Saint Aloysius Church, Reverend Peter Lanihan; catholic priest from Beantown Charles county, Md, Reverend N.D. Young resident at the pastoral home of Saint Dominick Church on the Island ans Sixth Street, Washington City) David "Davy" Harold, Louis Payne, George Atzerodt, and Mary Surratt. The original plan of the conspirators was to kill the beloved president and all the members of his cabinet, to place the country in a state of chaos, allowing the South to win the war it was loosing.

Michael O'laughlin delegated to assassinate General Grant, was found guilty by the same court and sentenced to the Dry Tortugas, but he died in prison of the Yellow Fever. Boyle was given the task of killing secretary Seward, and failed to accomplish the same. Samuel A. Mudd only served three years imprisonment as Edman Spangler and Samuel Arnold for their part in the conspiracy. Only the beloved president was killed in >the massive assassination plot. The general consensus is that slavery was the real issues behind the assassination, but we must know the opinions of many of the Popes of Rome with respect to our Constitution and the Bill of Rights, to see behind the curtains, the real objective of the conspiracy. Pope Pius IX author of the infamous "Syllabus" proclaimed December 8, 1864, anathematizes in the same, the fundamentals of Representative Governments and was aimed particularly at the United States which stands in authority today precisely as it did the day it was uttered as is attested by the Great Encyclicals of John Paul II. >

The real attack was place on our Constitution, although the president's life was taken. The declarations of many of the Popes of Rome make this the real target pursued by the catholic Church (The Destruction of Our Constitution) with the assassination of Abraham Lincoln. The Roman Catholic Church have bowed that it will change the US Constitution and through her secret Army The Jesuits, many of these deadly purposes will be accomplished. The Last book "The Keys To His Blood" of the Jesuit and Vatican insider Malachi Martin confirms all of this, with their own words. Also the book "The Great Controversy" by writer Ellen G. White, opens the mind as no other book on how the Church operates to accomplish their deadly purposes. After the assassination a catholic priest wrote a book on his investigation of the assassination of Abraham Lincoln, being a personal friend of the beloved President, he knew of the death treat on his life and the preparations to accomplish the killing. Father Charles Chiniquy went also two times to the White House, to alert him of the necessity of protecting his life. You can find all this history in the book "50 Years In The Church Of Rome" enhancing the evidence against the same church for the assassination of Abraham Lincoln, and it is very easy to buy this book at any Christian book store, but it is not the same for the other two books previously mention.

Why The US Government did not tell the American People, who the real culprit was?

Plain and simple, the government was afraid of a religious war.

The great fatal mistake of the American government in the prosecution of the assassins of Abraham Lincoln was to cover up the religious element of that terrible drama. But this was carefully avoided throughout the trial. Not long after the execution of the murderers, I went, incognito, to Washington to begin my investigation. I was not surprised to see that not a single one of the government men would discuss it with me except after I had given my word of honor that I would never mention their names. I saw, with a profound distress, that the influence of Rome was almost supreme in Washington. I could not find a single statesman who would dare to face that nefarious influence and fight it down.
Several of the government men told me in confidence: "We had not the least doubt that the Jesuits were at the bottom of that great iniquity; we even feared, sometimes, that this would come out so clearly before the military tribunal, that there would be no possibility of keeping it out of the public sight.
"This was not through cowardice, as you think, but through a wisdom which you ought to approve, if you cannot admire it. Had we been in days of peace, we know that with a little more pressure of the witnesses, many priests would have been compromised; for Mrs. Surratt's house was their common rendezvous; it is more than probable that several of them might have been hung. But the Civil War was hardly over. The Confederacy, though broken down, was still living in millions of hearts; murderers and formidable elements of discord were still seen everywhere, to which the hanging or exiling of those priests would have given a new life. Riots after riots would have accompanied and followed their execution.
We thought we had had enough of blood, fires, devastations and bad feelings. We were all longing for days of peace: the country was in need of them. We concluded that the best interests of humanity was to punish only those who were publicly and visibly guilty; that the verdict might receive the approbation of all, without creating any new bad feelings. Allow us also to tell you that there was nothing that good and great man feared so much as to arm the Protestants against the Catholics, and the Catholics against the Protestants." But if anyone has still any doubts of the complicity of the Jesuits in the murder of Abraham Lincoln, let him look at the very elaborate plan of escape prepared by the priests of Rome w save the lives of the assassins and the conspirators. John Surratt was in Washington the 14th of April helping Booth in the perpetration of the assassination. The priest, Charles Boucher, swears that only a few days after the murder, John Surratt was sent to him by Father Lapierre, of Montreal; that he kept him concealed in his parsonage of St. Liboire from the end of April to the end of July, then he took him back, secretly, to Father Lapierre, who kept him secreted in his own father's house, under the very shadow of the Montreal bishop's palace. He swears that Father Lapierre visited Surratt often, when secreted at St. Liboire, and that Father Boucher visited him, at least twice a week, from the end of July w September , when concealed in Father Lapierre's house in Montreal.
That same father, Charles Boucher, swears that he accompanied John Surratt in a carriage, in the company of Father Lapierre, in the steamer "Montreal", when starting for Quebec: that Father Lapierre kept Surratt under lock during the voyage from Montreal to Quebec, and that he accompanied him, disguised from the Montreal steamer to the ocean steamer, "Peruvian". The doctor of the steamer "Peruvian," L.I.A. McMillan, swears that Father Lapierre introduced him to John Surratt under the false name of McCarthy, whom he was keeping locked in his state room till she left Quebec for Europe the 15th September, 1865.
But who is that Father Lapierre who takes such a tender, paternal care of Surratt? No less than the canon of Bishop Bourget. of Montreal. He is the confidential man of the bishop; he lives with the bishop, eats at his table, assists him with his counsel, and receives his advice in every step of life. According to the laws of Rome, the canons are to the bishop what the arms are to the body. Now, I ask: Is it not evident that the bishops and the priests of Washington have trusted this murderer to the care of the bishops and priests of Montreal, that they might conceal, feed, and protect him for nearly six months, under the very shadow of the bishop's palace? Would they have done that if they were not his accomplices? Why did they so continually remain with him day and night, if they were not in fear that he might compromise them by an indiscreet word?
But where will those bishops and priests of Canada send John Surratt when they find it impossible to conceal him any longer from the thousands of detectives of the United States who are ransacking Canada to find out his retreat? Who can suppose that any one but the pope himself and his Jesuits will protect the murderer of Abraham Lincoln in Europe?
If you wan t to see him after he has crossed the ocean, go to Vitry, at the door of Rome, enrolled under the banners of the pope in the 9th company of his Zouaves, under the false name of Watson. Of course, the pope was forced to withdraw his protection over him, after the government of the United States had found him there, and he was brought back to Washington to be tried.
But on his arrival as a prisoner in the United States, his Jesuit father confessor whispered in his ear: "Fear not, you will not be condemned! Through the influence of a high Roman Catholic lady, two or three of the jurymen will be Roman Catholics, and you will be safe." Those who have read the two volumes of the trial of John Surratt know that never more evident proofs of guilt were brought against a murderer.
Those jurymen were told by their father confessors that the most holy father, the pope, Gregory VII, had solemnly and infallibly declared that "the killing of an heretic was no murder." - Jure Canonico.
After such teachings, how could the Roman Catholic jurymen find John Surratt guilty of murder for killing the heretic Lincoln ?
The jury having disagreed, no verdict could be given. The government was forced to let the murderer go unpunished.
But when the irreconcilable enemies of all the rights and liberties of men were congratulating themselves on their successful efforts to save the life of John Surratt, the God of heaven was stamping again on their faces the mark of murder, in such a way that all eyes will see it.

(From the book "50 Years in the Church of Rome p. 312-314)

While the war was ragging, the Pope of Rome endorsed Jefferson Davis as the president for the South, and sent him a letter recognizing him as the new president for the entire Union. When Jefferson Davis was arrested after the war, and was to be tried for treason, it was the distinguished Catholic Attorney Chas. O'Connor, of New York City, who offered his services, which were accepted in Mr Davis's defense. On September 25, 1863, Jefferson Davis sent a letter of thanks to the Pope of Rome, for getting personally involved in his defense.

Many people believe that Mexico was plainly robed of some of their lands by the US government. In fact, Mexico was a port for the French troops preparing to invade the United States, to help the government of the Rebels to destroy the Union on orders by the Catholic Church. Again the US government kept silent to avoid a religious war. ///Summing it All Up: Two and Two. The aim of the Jesuits in this country is to ultimately extricate the Roman Church from its responsibility in the murder of Lincoln by exonerating Mary E. Surratt and her son John by placing the whole blame in John Wilkes Booth-The Protestant." (?) The Recent activity in this direction of these Leopoldines-the Knights of Columbus---is most significant and interesting to observe. Wide publicity was recently given through the official press of the Knights of Columbus of an offer of five thousand dollars to "any one who can prove that John Wilkes Booth was a Roman Catholic" is one move in the plan. The Surratts must be white-washed before the Catholic church can clear its skirts. The documentary evidence pertaining to this tragedy has been so carefully and completely removed from the public eye that they feel it safe now to openly refer to the death of Lincoln. But for years his name never passed the lips of either the priests or the press of Rome./// From the Book "The Suppressed Truth About the Assassination of Abraham Lincoln" by Burke McCarty, page 212

In the. book of the testimonies given in the prosecution of the assassin of Lincoln, published by Ben Pitman, and in the two volumes of the trial of John Surratt, in 1867, we have the legal and irrefutable proof that the plot of the assassins of Lincoln was matured, if not started, in the house of Mary Surratt, 561 H Street, Washington, D.C. The sworn testimonies show that it was the common rendezvous of the priests of Washington. What does the presence of so many priests in that house reveal to the world? No man of common sense, who knows anything about the priests of Rome, can doubt that they were the advisers, the counselors, the very soul of that infernal plot.
Those priests, who were the personal friends and the father confessors of Booth, John Surratt, Mrs. and Miss Surratt, could not be constantly there without knowing what was going on, particularly when we know that every one of those priests was a rabid rebel in heart. Every one of those priests, knowing that his infallible pope had called Jeff Davis his dear son, and had taken the Southern Confederacy under his protection, was bound to believe that the most holy thing a man could do, was to fight for the Southern cause by destroying those who were its enemies.
Read the history of the assassination of Admiral Coligny, Henry III and Henry IV, and William the Taciturn, by the hired assassins of the Jesuits; compare them with the assassination of Abraham Lincoln, and you will find that one resembles the other like two drops of water. You will understand that they all come from the same source, Rome!
The murderers, selected and trained by the Jesuits, were of the most exalted Roman Catholic piety, living in the company of priests, going to confess very often, receiving the communion the day before, if not the very day of the murder. You will see that the assassins were considering themselves the chosen instruments of God, to save the nation by striking its tyrant; that they firmly believed that there was no sin in killing the enemy of the people, of the holy Church, and of the infallible pope!
Booth, suffering the most horrible tortures from his broken leg, writes in his daily memorandum, the very day before his death: "I can never repent, though we hated to kill. Our country owed all her troubles to him (Lincoln), and God simply made me the instrument of his punishment." Who can suppose that it was Jeff Davis who had filled the mind and the heart of Booth with that religious and exalted fanaticism!
Surely Jeff Davis had promised the money to arm their nerves by the hope of becoming rich. The testimonies on that account say that he had promised one million dollars.
That arch-rebel could give the money; but the Jesuits alone could select the assassins, train them, and show them a crown of glory in heaven, if they would kill the author of the bloodshed, the famous renegade and apostate - the enemy of the pope and of the Church - Lincoln.
Who does not see the lessons given by the Jesuits to Booth, in their daily intercourse in Mary Surratt's house, when he reads those lines written by Booth a few hours before his death: "I can never repent; God made me the instrument of His punishment!" Compare these words with the doctrines and principles taught by the councils, the decrees of the pope, and the laws of holy Inquisition, and you will find that the sentiments and belief of Booth flow from those principles, as the river flows from its source.
And that pious Miss Surratt who, the very next day alter the murder of Lincoln, said, without being rebuked, in the presence of several other witnesses: "The death of Abraham Lincoln is no more than the death of any nigger in the army." Where did she get that maxim, if not from her Church? Had not that Church recently proclaimed, through her highest legal and civil authority, the devoted Roman Catholic Judge Taney, in his Dred Scot decision, the Negroes have no right which the white is bound to respect? By bringing the president on a level with the lowest nigger, Rome was saying that he had no right even to his life.
Read in the testimony concerning Mrs. Mary E. Surratt (pp.122, 123) , how the J esui ts had perfectly drilled her in the art of perjuring herself. In the very moment when the government officer orders her to prepare herself, with her daughter, to follow him as prisoners. at about ten p.m., Payne, the would-be murderer of Seward, knocks at the door and wants to see Mrs. Surratt. But instead of having Mrs. Surratt to open the door, he finds himself confronted, face to face, with the government detective, Major Smith, who swears:
"I questioned him in regard to his occupation, and what business he had at the house at this late hour of the night. He stated that he was a laborer, and had come to dig a gutter at the request of Mrs. Surratt.
"I went to the parlor door, and said, 'Mrs. Surratt, will you step here a minute?' She came out, and I asked her, 'Do you know this man, and did you hire him to come and dig a gutter for you?' She answered, raising her right hand, 'Before God, sir, I do not know

>In all these issues the US government always loose, getting the evil image. A good example to mention is that in all the countries of South America, children are taught that we are heretic nation, because we are Protestants. And you can do a little research to find out this to be true. >  > >If You buy today, any book on the assassination, the names of Mary Surratt, Spangler, Booth, etc are mention. But what about John Harrison Surratt ? In the poster circulated for his capture and the capture of Booth and Harold, the price tag for Surratt was $25,000,00 dollars. But there are some people interested in the opacity of John Surratt in the plot. >  >If we forget History we are doom to repeat it. The opinions of many of the Popes about our constitution is very disturbing to the people that really appreciate freedom and liberty, along with the horrible record of the Catholic Church in the Dark Ages, Nazi Germany, The Inquisition, The Ustashi in Yugoslavia, etc, we think the Church is like a Chameleon, especially when they don't have control. Hitler, Mussolini and Franco were very loyal Roman Catholics to the day they all die, but the church never excommunicated them. >Joseph McCarthy "The Witch Hunter" was an agent of the catholic Church. After the war, many new disclosures were coming out in the newspapers on the involvement of the catholic church with the Nazis, how the church supported the war and Hitler policies, and after the war the church was responsible for smuggling many of the war criminals to South America. The "Cold War" was a good investment for the Roman >Church to divert the eyes of the world from the church to

the "Cold War" we must see the movie "McCarthy: Death of a Witch Hunter" and compare with copies of newspapers of the time. We will see how this "Witch Hunting" allowed the opacity of the church of Rome in War World II involvement and brought "The Cold War" into the front pages. There is too much to add to this, and the books of history can not be erased. >From the Books "The Suppressed Truth About The Assassination Of Abraham Lincoln" By Burke McCarthy and "Rome's Responsibility for The Assassination Of Abraham Lincoln" by Thomas Harris.
